They’re also typically cheaper to insure and maintain, and they’re certainly more fuel-efficient, meaning that the savings just keep piling up.

Scooters are also much easier to handle and control, so the learning curve isn’t quite so steep if you’re new to the vehicle. Most models use automatic transmission, for instance, while most motorcycles require manual gear shifting. Scooters also have a smaller footprint and more compact frame that make it easier to navigate traffic, store them overnight or long-term, and even find parking spots! They’re also easier to maneuver thanks to the smaller wheelbase.
